Carbon Brick for Blast Furnace

Due to its property of high conductivity, low surface wettability and low permeability of molten iron, carbon brick is used extensively in bosh, hearth and bottom of blast furnace. Yanmu offers various carbon brick used for different application.
 
Semi-graphite brick is produced from high-temperature calcined anthracite and graphite as main raw material and pitch as binder through extruding, baking and some other processes. It features good thermal conductivity as well as alkali-resistance. It is used typically at the bottom of blast furnace.
 
High thermal conductivity graphite Brick is produced from low-ash pet-coke as main raw material and pitch as binder through extruding, baking, soakage, graphitization and some other processes. This product features high thermal conductivity. Typically it is used in the furnace bottom and is used to protect the bottom from thermal impact and erosion of molten iron. It can also be used in bosh of blast furnace.
 
High thermal conductivity carbon brick is manufactured from graphite with high thermal conductivity as main raw material, semi-graphite and pitch as binder through extruding, baking and some other processed. It is used typically at the bottom of blast furnace due to its good thermal conductivity.
 
Micro-pore carbon brick is manufactured from high-temperature-calcined anthracite as raw material, pitch as binder and certain amount of other additives through extruding, baking and other processes. It features good resistance to molten iron and is typically used in hearth of blast furnace.
 
Ultra-micro-pore carbon brick is manufactured from high-temperature-calcined anthracite as raw material, pitch as binder and multiple additives through extruding, baking and other processes. It features excellent thermal conductivity. It is typically used in hearth of large-sized blast furnace and project experience shows that it can effectively protect the lining from erosion of molten iron.
